Tia is known throughout Arizona for giving an exciting performance. His singing is superb! He has a voice like "Elvis". His charisma on stage is delightful. He's so entertaining. He starts the show with the dancers of Tahiti, the beating of drums,with fast moving hips,its always a crowd pleaser. Tia then takes you to the Island of Hawaii, the girls dance with Hawaiian implements,and wears the traditional costume. Hawaiian ,is where the dancer tell the story with her hand movements. During this set Tia likes to interact with his audience,whether its a small gathering or a large corporate luau , Tia will have one of his hula dancers teach guests from the audience. Its always fun to see families, friends ,and co workers learning the dances. We then paddle our canoes to the Island of New Zealand,our male dancers perform the "Haka". This is a dance done by warriors before going into battle . This is where they intimidate each other. We also have one our dancers do the Poi Balls. The routine is done with two balls on the end of braided yarn. Islanders are very creative in their ways,they always make everything out of resources they have or things that they harvest. Samoa is one of the most EXCITING islands of all. Our male dancers do the SLAP dance, which is sometimes referred to as the "Mosquito dance'. In Samoa they have lots of insects. This dance always make the audience laugh, this dance is very entertaining. Then lights out! The Samoan FIREKNIFE dance is very exciting. Tahiti is where the action is. Beautiful headdresses,colorful exotic costumes,the beating of drums, this is the dance where the hips tell the story. Lots of grass skirts a shaking . We like to interact with the male audience. We bring them up on stage and teach them a few moves. Its fun to see the moves they do when they are dancing with our hula dancers.
